Facial Tribal Tattoo
A few weeks ago I did a post called face tattoos- hot or not?. Well I received many emails and a few comments about facial tattoos and some thoughts from my readers. Many readers said they wondered how facial tattoos would impact ones career options. I can see how facial tattoos have an impact on ones career choices, as I know many people are not very fond of them.
What if I told you, that a man who has his entire face covered in a colorful tribal tattoo was a teacher? You would probably not believe me, but the truth is, Mr Bruce Potts is a teacher of Public Speaking at the University of New Mexico. Now how about this… Potts said he hasn’t had trouble getting a job, because success is all about how one presents him or herself and doesn’t solely depend on appearance.
I am not sure if he got his facial tattoo before he became a teacher or not, but he is still teaching, so apparently it has been accepted!
For some reason I get the vibe Mr Potts is very laid back and in fact an excellent teacher of public speaking. After all I am sure he has had to deal with confrontation in public, so whom a better teacher than one who has experience?
He said he doesn’t worry about people not taking him seriously as a teacher, because he has more than two decades of teaching experience. By his photo, he seems very happy with who he is, don’t you agree? I would love to be one of his students, just to see his outlook on teaching and his personality. I have a feeling he is very colorful and energetic!
What do you think?

I think attitude is a big part of it and what you tattoo. If you look at him, he IS colorful, cheerful and upbeat. When you look at some people with complete facial tattooing, they are more sullen and the ink seems to reflect a more f**k you attitude. Most are not smiling in their photos and aren’t dressed very well either. Mr. Potts is smiling and in a suit. I’d love to spend some time with him just to watch how his day goes and to ask all the obvious questions.
